Betty Lou (Books) Schultz

Betty Schultz, 86, of Zumbrota, died Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Bay View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Red Wing, MN. Betty Lou Books was born December 16, 1934 in Wabasha County, MN to Edward and Elizabeth (Whipple) Books. Betty married Lloyd Schultz October 17,1951 in Rochester.

She held numerous jobs over the years but was satisfied being at home with her family where she could exhibit her love for cooking. She loved hanging all your family pictures on the walls. She enjoyed collecting angel things and Betty Boop things. She was a very loving mom, grandma and great grandma.

Betty is survived by four children; Jerry (Cindy) Schultz, Leonard (Lana) Schultz, Alice Clausen, Frank Schultz (Lauri Peter); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Howard Books and sister-in-law Marilyn Books.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd; children John Schultz and Diane Schultz. A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 11 at Pleasant Prairie Dale Cemetery. Online condolences are welcome and may be shared at mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
