Betty Lou Heim

Betty Lou Heim, 78, of Red Wing, Minnesota, died Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the Bay View Care Center. She was born April 28, 1941 in Marshall and grew up in Wilmer, Minnesota. She was baptized at Church of Christ in St. Charles, Minnesota. She graduated from North High School in Minneapolis in 1959. She met David Heim while he was working for IBM. The couple married on September 13, 1970. Together, they adopted and raised one son. They lived for 3 years in Sunnyvale California before moving to Dallas, Texas where they lived for 24 years. They moved back to Minnesota in 2003. Betty Lou loved to arrange flowers and enjoyed traveling in her younger years.

She is survived by her husband, David of Red Wing; son Douglas (Stacie) Heim; two grandsons; Preston and Dawson all of Cumming, Georgia; two sisters, Barbara Johnson and Bonnie Barrett both of the Twin Cities area.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
