Berniece L. (Anderson) Naeseth

Berniece L. Naeseth of Zumbrota, Minnesota, formerly of Crystal Lake, Illinois, passed away at St. Mary’s in Rochester on May 20, 2021. She was 84.

She was born on July 26, 1936 to Stanley and Avilda Anderson. Berniece graduated from Zumbrota High School. After living in various locations, she settled in Crystal Lake, where she worked in real estate for 40 years and participated in many church and community activities. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Her passion was cooking and feeding people, and she participated in numerous food pantry and Christmas food basket projects.

In 2010, she retired and moved back to her home town of Zumbrota, where she enjoyed entertaining and reconnecting with old friends.

Berniece is survived by her children Scott (Rose White) Naeseth and Rhonda (Bill) Reedy, whom she shared with former spouse Roger Naeseth; cherished grandsons Matthew Naeseth and Andrew Naeseth; brothers Sidney (Diane) Anderson and Wayne Anderson; and sister Marilyn Reeve.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday June 23 at Christ Lutheran Church in Zumbrota. Wayne Schoch, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at Zumbrota Cemetery.
