Bernice Rosella Lampman, 96 of Red Wing, died Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Red Wing Health Center. Bernice was born January 18, 1916 in Rock Elm Township, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph and Myrtle (Bee) Babcock. She grew up and attended school in Rock Elm Township. In 1933, she married Fred Lampman and eventually they moved to Red Wing where Fred worked for Durkee Atwood. She enjoyed babysitting for her grandchildren, working in the yard and garden, and doing craft projects.
She is survived by her daughter Bonnie (Burl Beaulieu) Steffenhagen of Red Wing; five grandchildren Scott, Jeff, Joe (Melody), and Vicky Lampman, and Mitzie Knapp; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law Marlene Lampman of Red Wing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; sons Tom and Jerry Lampman; two sisters; one brother; and one great grandson.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m., Friday, November 9, 2012 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Greg Strunk officiating.
