Bernard A. Blattner

Bernard A Blattner, 77, passed away at the Lake City Care Center on January 14, 2021.

Bernard was born on March 24, 1943 to William & Myrtle (Schwirtz) Blattner in Thielman, MN. He graduated from Wabasha High School in 1961. Bernard married his wife Marie Fenske on May 15, 1965 in St. Charles, MN. Bernard worked in maintenance at the Lake City Hospital for 48 year until his retirement.

Bernard is survived by his wife Marie; his brothers, Clifford (Wanda) Blattner of Hart, MN., Allen (Eunice) Blattner of Lake City, and Norman Blattner of Bellchester, MN.;  his sister, Joyce (Eugene) Passe of Wabasha, MN, also a sister-in-law, JoAnn Blattner of Lake City. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert Blattner.

Due to Bernard’s request, no services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson - Peterson Chapel of Lake City.
