Barbara Udenberg

Barbara L. Udenberg age 70 of Lake City passed away Friday at her home after a 4 year battle with cancer.

Barbara was born January 10, 1938 in Waseca, MN to Thomas "LeRoy" & Florence (Dawald) Magner. Barbara graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Waseca in 1956; she then attended Minnesota School of Business. She married Don Udenberg June 14, 1958 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. They moved to Rochester in 1959. In 1976 they started Udenberg and Associates Inc. in Rochester. They moved to Lake City in 1984. Don passed away May 14, 2000. Barbara was member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lake City. She also served as a den mother in the Cub Scouts for 10 years, and she also taught Sunday school in Rochester and Lake City. She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting the cabin in northern Minnesota.

Barbara is survived by four sons, Michael (Marcia) of Stewartville, John (Dawn) of Chatfield, Eric of Rochester, Patrick (Robyn) of Lake City; two daughters Ann (Robert) DeFrang of Sparta, WI, Linda (Ray) Cobb of Rochester; 14 grandchildren, and her mother Florence Magner of Lake City. She was preceded in death by her husband and father.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lake City with Father James Russell officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's cemetery in Lake City. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the services at the church on Monday.
