Barbara Ann TerBorch age 82 of Lake City passed away Saturday October 25, 2008 at home.
Barbara was born April 10, 1926 in Red Wing, MN to Vernie & Marcella (Lilleblad) Johnson. She grew up in Lake City and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1944. Barbara married Lowell "Babe" TerBorch July 17, 1958 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City. Barbara was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Lake City, Lake City VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and Rural Letter Carriers Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, golf for which she has been a member of the Lake City Golf Course for over 50 years, knitting, reading, and cross stitching. She also had a great love for dogs.
Barbara is survived by her husband; a daughter Teri (Robert) Perez of Rochester; two grandchildren Nicholas Perez of Minneapolis, Stefanie Perez of Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents a brother Gary Johnson.
A Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 29, at 1:00 pm at Bethany Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bruce Stam officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery in Lake City. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the services at the church. Memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
