UPDATED SERVICE INFORMATION
Barbara Louise Langhans, 80, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at St. Crispin Living Community, with her loving family by her side. She was born February 11, 1940, in Red Wing, to William and Nellie (Ramboldt) Luetke and graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1958. On December 19, 1959, she was united in marriage to Richard Langhans, Sr. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hay Creek. They made their home in Hay Creek, where they raised their family and for a number of years she worked as a home health aide. Barb was a member of New River Assembly of God Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She enjoyed doing puzzle books and especially playing card games with the family.
She is survived by her husband, Dick; three children, Rick (Donna) Langhans of Welch, Lori Langhans (Lee) of Elmwood, Wis. and Lisa (Paul) Hansen of British Columbia, Canada; nine grandchildren, Scott (Lindsey), Ryan (Kayla), Corey, Casey, Kristie (Josh), Cody, Micala, Kumari (Brendan) and Caleb (Kristina); 10 great grandchildren; one brother, Jim (Jackie) Luetke of Red Wing; sister-in-law, Joyce Luetke of Kansas City, Missouri; brother-in-law, Bob (Mary) Langhans of Red Wing; sister-in-law Jan Langhans of Red Wing and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Rodney Luetke and one brother-in-law, Bill Langhans.
A celebration of life service will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2021 at New River Assembly of God Church in Red Wing.
Memorials are preferred to the New River Assembly of God Church.
