Barbara Jean Goodman

Barbara J. Goodman age 75 formerly of Wanamingo died on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Lake City Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, May 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wanamingo with Reverend Christopher Culuris officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the church and on Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Barbara Jean Goodman was born on April 28, 1936 in New Haven Township, Olmsted County, MN to Glenn and Helen (Rossi) Goodman. Barbara attended country school and graduated from Rochester High School. She worked as a nanny for many families in the Rochester area and the Security State Bank of Wanamingo as a bank teller where she later retired. Barbara was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crafts, word finds and visiting with family and friends.
Barbara is survived by one sister, Margaret "Peg" Kyllo of Wanamingo; three brothers, Willis "Bill" (Eloise) Goodman, Maurice "Brownie" (Roberta "Bobbie") Goodman both of Wanamingo and Kenneth (Mary) Goodman of Zumbrota; and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and one niece, JoAnn Louise Goodman.
Casketbearers are Christopher Goodman, Scott Goodman, Ronald Kyllo, Paul Kyllo, Robert Goodman, Eric Goodman, Bruce Goodman, and Travis Goodman. Honorary Bearers are Kathy Hadler, Sara Haugen, Ruth Travis, Rita Kyllo, Linda Goodman, Laura Stubbe and Susan
Bobenhamer.
