Barbara Louise Bremer, 68, of Red Wing died Friday at her home. She was born on February 24, 1937 in Zumbrota to Karsten and Hannah (Christianson) Skjefstad. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1955. On April 9, 1960 she married Neal Bremer at St. Paul?s Lutheran Church. She worked nine years at First National Bank and for 20 years at the Red Wing Health Center. She was a member of St. Paul?s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed biking, traveling and baking. Survivors include her husband, Neal; three children, Jill Bremer (Brian Junk) of Plymouth, Timothy (Shari) Bremer of Shakopee and Hayley (Scott) Kulstad of Savage; six grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Anderson of Red Wing and Bernice (Harvey) Halpaus of Lake City and several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul?s Lutheran Church with Rev. Kristen Schlauderaff officiating. Private burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas, Paige and Kayla Bremer, Alex, Zach and Emily Kulstad. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and at the church for one hour prior to he service. Memorials are preferred to the church.
