Audrey E. Miller

Audrey E. Miller, 83, Red Wing, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Ebenezer Deer Crest Assisted Living in Red Wing. She was born July 5, 1927 in Gibbon, Minnesota, the daughter of Harry and Malinda Peetsch. She attended school in Winthrop, MN through the eighth grade. She married Edwin E. Johnson on June 15, 1946 in Winthrop. He died December 26, 1971 in New Ulm. She worked as a waitress at A & W in Red Wing during the 1970's. She married Roy H. Miller in September, 1972. He died October 1, 2007 in Red Wing. She was a member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons: Kevin (Julie) Johnson and Dale (Laura) Johnson, both of Red Wing; two stepdaughters: Judith Miller of Williamsburg, VA and Vicky (Barry) Winkler of Pittsburgh, CA; one stepson, Robert (Lisa) Miller of Lake City; two sisters: Marjorie Spoor of New Ulm and Evelyn (Eugene) Helmer of Dassel, MN; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and son-in-law, Lyle Trulin of Plymouth, MN. She was preceded in death by both husbands; her parents; one daughter, Ardis Trulin, one sister, Marie Krueger and one brother, Lewis Peetsch.

Funeral will be 2 p. m. Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Red Wing with Reverend David Lau officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel is handling arrangements.
