Audrey Jean Brunner, 84, of Red Wing, died unexpectedly, Friday, March 4, 2011, at the Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. She was born August 14, 1926, in Red Wing, to Lester and Florence (Tiedeman) Danielson. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1944 and married Lloyd Brunner on May 27, 1950. She worked at Goodhue County National Bank for 25 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and VFW Auxiliary. She had enjoyed camping with family and after retiring, she and Lloyd enjoyed traveling. Most important to Audrey was her family.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lloyd Brunner of Red Wing; two daughters, Cindy (John Grizzle) Brunner of Camp Hill, Alabama and Mary Brunner of Augusta, Wisconsin; three brothers, Bob (Grace) Danielson of Hastings, Dick (Lois) Danielson of Lindstrom and Tom (Dorothy) Danielson of Grand Marais; brother and sister-in-law, Karl (Ruthie) Brunner of Red Wing and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private family memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church. All are invited to attend a Celebration of Audrey's life from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2011, at the Christ Church Parish Hall.
