Armond A. Yotter, age 84, of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Lake City Care Center.
Armond was born on September 4, 1927 at home in Gilbert Valley to Leslie and Alice (Roschen) Yotter. He grew up and farmed in the Lake City area. After 45 years of farming he retired in 1989 and then went on to become a DHIA supervisor for 14 years.
On June 21, 1953, he married Janet Dose at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City. He enjoyed fishing and watching Jeopardy. He especially enjoyed time spent with his children and grandchildren.
Armond is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Mary (Ron) Passe of Wabasha, Mark (Rita) Yotter of Lake City, Brad (Linda) Yotter of Lake City and Janet Yotter (Bruce Fuller) of Winona. Seven grandchildren: Cheryl (Jason) Holland, Ryan Passe, Emily (Justin) Wallerich, Michelle Yotter, Brian Yotter, Adam Yotter and Sarah Yotter; and his sisters, Annetta (Walter) Danckwart of Lake City, LaVonne (Rodney) Eggenberger of Lake City, Doreen (Richard) Severson of Rochester and a brother Harold Yotter of New Ulm, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Armond is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Louis and Ernie.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 17th at Mahn Family Funeral Home in Lake City, MN from 4 - 7 p.m. and on Monday one hour prior to the service at St. John's Lutheran Church.
Funeral service will be held Monday, June 18th at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City at 11:00a.m. Burial will be at St John's Cemetery. Pall bearers will be his seven grandchildren.
