Arlys May Clark

DODGE CENTER Arlys M. Clark, 63, of Dodge Center, died Tuesday, (Feb. 22, 2011) at Rochester Methodist Hospital.
Arlys May Kitch was born March 20, 1947 in Austin, MN to Harvey and Ruth (Selthun) Kitch. She grew up in the Owatonna area and graduated from Owatonna High School. In 1964 she married her childhood sweetheart, Lawrence (Larry) Clark and together they had three children. In 1977 they moved to Dodge Center where they owned and operated a café for a brief period of time. Following that, Arlys began working at Waters Instruments in Rochester and in 1998 she moved on to working at McNeilus Truck & Mfg where she worked until 2008. She retired in 2009. She was active in the American Legion Auxiliary and as a volunteer for Semcac. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, a good book, remodeling the house, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Arlys is survived by her husband Larry, two daughters Cynthia (Kenneth) Langr of Coon Rapids, MN; and Bethany (Scott) Glarner of West Concord, MN; her son Greg Clark of Dodge Center; five grandchildren; and her sister Virginia Kitch of Minneapolis, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother William.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Dodge Center on Friday (Mar. 4, 2011) at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Justin Boeding officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church, where there will be a reception following the service. Spring Interment will be at Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Owatonna, MN.
