Arlene Kline, 79, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at her home. She was born November 12, 1931 in Red Wing, to Milton and Mabel (Nelson) Hanson. She grew up in the country near Bay City and attended Oak Center country school near Esdaile . She moved to Red Wing and had worked at the Stickle Shoe Factory. On June 28, 1952, she married Donovan Kline at United Lutheran Church. Throughout the years she had done babysitting for many families. She was a member of United Lutheran Church and its womenâ?TMs circle. She enjoyed going to stockcar races where she would watch family and friends race, going camping, fishing, and traveling in the motor home.

She is survived by her husband, Donovan of Red Wing; a son, Gary (Rosemary Barrett) Kline of Red Wing; two brothers, Laverne (Norma) Hanson and Marlan (Kathy) Hanson all of Bay City, Wis. and two sisters, Dorothy (Melvin) Johnson of Ellsworth, Wis. and Gloria (Eldon) Myer of Hammond, Wis. and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Vera, Loretta and Mary.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26 at United Lutheran Church with Reverend Randall Johnson officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
