Ardyce Bertha Lohmeyer, 89, Red Wing, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at St. Brigid?s at Hi Park. She was born July 31, 1917 in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of Emil and Bertha (Lindell) Johnson. She was baptized September 21, 1917 at Zion Lutheran Church in St. Paul by Reverend J. A. Frost. She attended elementary school in St. Paul and the family moved to Hager City when she was 10 years of age. She was confirmed on July 19, 1931 at Svea Lutheran Church by Reverend G.A. Lindau. She attended Wilson Elementary School and was a 1936 graduate of Red Wing High School. She married Alvin Lohmeyer on June 26, 1937 at Svea Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and they farmed near White Rock from 1942-2001. While farming, they sold and delivered eggs in the Red Wing area. They moved to the Seminary Plaza in 2001. He died April 13, 2004. She was a member of St. John?s Lutheran Church, rural Goodhue and the Vasa Triangle Home Extension Group .She enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include one son, Gary (Judy) Lohmeyer of Goodhue; two grandchildren: Sheila (Tom) Pasch of Goodhue and Jeff (Becky) Lohmeyer of Pine Island; four great-grandchildren: Alyssa & Jacob Pasch and Jared & Drew Lohmeyer; one sister, Corrine Johnson of Red Wing and one sister-in-law, Alice Luhman of Red Wing. She was preceded in death by her husband; one sister, Renee Pearson, two brothers, Robert and Burton Johnson. Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. John?s Lutheran Church, rural Goodhue with Reverend Andrew Krause officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Richard Callstrom, Steve Wilds, Jeff, Jared and Drew Lohmeyer, Tom, Alyssa and Jacob Pasch. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and on Friday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
