Ardis E. Randall
Ardis E. Randall, age 92, of Lake City, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Lake City Nursing Home.
Ardis Elaine Fick was born August 23, 1917 in Lake City to William and Frances (nee Cooper) Fick. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1935 and attended Winona State College. She married Howard Randall on June 19, 1944, and they later divorced. She was a longtime active member of United Methodist Church, Den Mother, a member and Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Lake City Chapter #75. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting, collecting dolls, participating in numerous Elderhostel trips, and getting together with the Merry Mixers neighborhood group.
She is survived by her two sons, William (Jill) Randall of Chaska, MN and Wayne (Mary K) Randall of Lake City; and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Nadine.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2009 at the United Methodist Church with Reverend Donald Jones officiating. Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
