Arden Ray Lindeomoen, 74, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the Fairview Seminary Home. He was born October 10, 1934 in Big Woods Township in Marshall County, Minnesota to Richard and Anna (Westman) Lindemoen. He attended country schools in Big Woods Township and graduated in 1952 from Crookston High School. He attended the University of Minnesota-Crookston Agriculture School. He married Sylvia Johnson on July 27, 1955. They lived in Blaine where he worked for Local 548 as a millwright. They later divorced. He married Janet Soderstrom on October 20, 1979. They lived in South Saint Paul before moving to Prairie Island in 1982. He retired nine years ago. He enjoyed going to auctions and going to the casino.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; seven children, Terry (Tracy) Lindemoen of Blaine, Minnesota, Judy (John Mullenix) Willette of Pine City, Minneosta, James Lindemoen of Palisade, Minnesota, Betty (Mitch) Neff of McGrath, Minnesota, Mary (Ken) Damann of Grasston, Minnesota, Denice (James) Janssen of South Saint Paul, Minnesota, and Rick Lindemoen of Blaine, Minnesota; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Loris (Douglas) Parr of East Grand Forks, Minnesota and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Bonita Ann, and three brothers Lowell, Richard, and Richard's twin brother in infancy.
