Annetta Elizabeth Sleeper, 81, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the Fairview Seminary Home. She was born on July 23, 1924 in Red Wing to Forest and Mabel Rutherford. She attended schools in Red Wing and Minneapolis. On July 1, 1961 she was married to John Sleeper. She worked at Red Wing Shoe Company, Red Wing Pottery as a painter and for many years at Struss Optical. John died on November 29, 1984. She enjoyed singing, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Melody (Billy) Lampman of Red Wing and three grandchildren, Chad, Shane and McKenzie Lampman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and infant son. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2006 at the New River Assembly of God Church in Red Wing with Rev. Tom Johnson officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam and Dan Struss and David Egeness.
