Anna Marie Bach, April 27, 1989 – April 16, 2025.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anna, beloved daughter, sister and auntie who left this world on April 16, 2025 after a courageous six-and-a-half-year battle with brain cancer. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her family.
Anna was born on April 27, 1989, in Red Wing, MN to Kevin and Connie Bach. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 2007 and attended Minnesota State College Southeast and Sanford Brown University where she earned an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice in 2011.
Anna spent her life dedicated to helping at-risk youth. She started volunteering at the Red Wing Correctional Facility in high school and went on to work as an Educational Support Professional for the Intermediate School District 917 in Rosemount, MN and the Juvenile Service Center in Hastings, MN. Her experience during her school years in Red Wing, being bullied and ostracized, shaped her passion for supporting young people who did not feel they belonged or fit in.
She was devoted to her family and friends. She cherished her niece, Lilah, her nephew, Christopher, her bonus nephew Cale and her dog, Luna. Her humor, generosity, and laughter touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was a devoted Packer’s fan attending games, both in Green Bay and Minneapolis. Sundays were football day. The Packer’s lost an avid and faithful fan. In her final years, she was an advocate for brain cancer awareness and funding.
Anna is survived by her mother, Connie Franklin, father, Kevin Bach, brother, Michael, his children, Lilah and Christopher, her life-long friend, Michelle Woodward and son Cale, her aunts and uncles and beloved cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Orville and Marian Franklin and Ruth Bach.
Anna's love and spirit will remain in our hearts forever. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the lives she touched.
