Anita D. Bartholome age 86 of Bellechester died on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the Lake City Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, February 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bellechester with Father Bruce Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 26, 2009 from 4:00 � 7:00 PM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home � Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and on Friday one hour prior to the mass at the church.
Anita Dorothy Perrotti was born on May 2, 1922 in Township, Goodhue County, MN to Peter and Theresa E. (nee Tri) Perrotti. She grew up in rural Mazeppa and attended country school. On October 1, 1947 she married LuVerne Bartholome at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Mazeppa. They farmed the Bartholome family farm in rural Bellechester. Anita did housecleaning for several families in the Red Wing, Zumbrota and Lake City. She also worked as a sales clerk for the Bellechester Store in the early 1980's. Anita enjoyed dancing, reading, embroidery, sewing, gardening, casino outings and trips with her sisters and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bellechester. Anita is survived by her children, Katherine (Bob) Lansing of Solon Springs, WI, Jeanne (Dick) Manthei of Wabasha, Nancy (LeRoy) Goranson of Mazeppa, Robert (Sue) Bartholome of Bellechester, Donna Bartholome of Bellechester and Janet (Greg) Kemple of Rochester, ten grandchildren, Peter, Eric, Nathan and Emily Bartholome, Jake and Tessa Rasmussen, Thad Dahling, Vicki Andersen, Brandon and Haley Goranson, one great-grandson, four step grandchildren, three sisters, Cecelia Krier of Lake City, Dolores Buck of Goodhue and Mary (Bob) Hepplemann of Bellechester and sister-in-law, Sue Perrotti. Anita was preceded in death by her husband LuVerne, three brothers, Anthony, Cletus and Donald Perrotti and one sister, Lorraine Liffrig. Casketbearers are her grandsons and honorary bearers are her granddaughters. The family suggests memorials to a hospice of your choice.
