Andrew Weiland, 23, of Red Wing, passed away Thursday June 4, 2020 at his home in Red Wing. A memorial service for Andrew will be held at United Redeemer Lutheran Church on Thursday June 11th at 11:00 AM. The Reverend Marggi Pleiss Sippola will officiate. Due to the ongoing situation with the Covid-19 outbreak, if you are planning to attend please maintain social distancing guidelines and wear a mask.
Andrew Robert Weiland was born in Duluth on May 13, 1997 to Robert and Cynthia (nee LaVenture) Weiland. Raised in Zumbrota, he was a graduate of the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Schools. A former carrier for the Post Bulletin, he enjoyed bowling, riding bicycle, and especially horse riding, which he actively pursued through RideAbility. Thoughtful and caring, Andrew enjoyed helping others and could often emote a smile from those he met.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Cynthia Weiland of rural Zumbrota; a sister, Brandi Weiland of rural Zumbrota; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
