Andrew Shane Stensrud

Andrew Shane Stensrud, age 42 of Red Wing, died Monday, April 21, 2025 at his residence. He was born January 8, 1983 in Red Wing to Gene and Kim (Johnson) Stensrud. He grew up in Red Wing and attended school there. He was currently working as a roofer for Flynn Roofing in Plymouth, MN and was a proud member of Roofers Local 96. Andy was a man that enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything. He loved attending family events and playing football with his boys. He was a diehard hockey fan, he loved the Minnesota Wild and his dream was to watch them win the Stanley Cup. You would often see him in his driveway shooting pucks. Andy was TOOL’s biggest fan. He would always be found with his headphones jamming to his favorite tunes. He is survived by his four children, Olivia Gilbert of Red Wing, Brooklynn Stensrud of Lake Havasu, AZ, Ashton Stensrud of Hager City, Shane Stensrud of Hager City; siblings Inga Sparr of Saline Louisiana, Nick Stensrud of Red Wing, Jessica Molgard of Red Wing, Kiersten Prado of Del Rio, TX; ex-wife, Tiffaney Molgard of Hager City, and her two sons, Austin Yeary and Zachary Gilbertson; significant other, Kacie Korsten and her three daughters, Evelyn, Dolores, and Eleanor and their two dogs, Deuce and Tank. He is preceded in death by his parents and two children, Gene and Harmony.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson Mahn Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be Noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the Bay City American Legion.
