Alma J Martinson, 88, Red Wing, died Friday, January 5, 2007, at Fairview Seminary Home. Born August 19, 1918, in Wilmot, SD to Alfred and Rosa (Gubka) Nielsen. She graduated from Wilmot High School in 1936, and then later moved to Red Wing with her sisters in 1938. She married Virgil Martinson on June 5, 1941 in Red Wing. She worked at Wilson Hardware as a sales clerk until retiring in 1979. Virgil died May 11, 1983. She was a member at First United Methodist Church its Eve?s Circle and The Birthday Club. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking, and gardening, which she was especially good with flowers. She is survived by three children, Jacqueline (Duane) Duden of Red Wing, Sharon (Jim) Johnson of Billings, MT, and Lynn (Rosanna) Martinson of Red Wing; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris (Ken) Cameron of Wilmot, SD, Virginia Dixon of Tucson, AZ; and one brother, Jim (Dorothy) Nielsen of Wilmot, SD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; two brothers, Loren ?Bud? Nielsen and William ?Bill? Nielsen; five sisters, Mildred ?Sis? Aschwege, Marion ?Mae? Barland, Elnora ?Peggy? Galvin, Flossie ?Toots? Gerdes, and Delores Nielsen; granddaughter, April Martinson; and grandson, Brett Duden. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Wayne Walther officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, and for one hour prior to service at the Church
