Alice Arlene Marks, 79, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Seminary Home. She was born on March 30, 1935 in Quamba, Minnesota to Oscar and Ruth (Obbaruis) Rogne. She graduated in 1953 from Mora High School in Mora, Minnesota. For a number of years she lived in Welch and then moved to Red Wing. She worked at Pirius Bakery and Braschlers Bakery and then for IRC, which is now PROACT. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and she will be remembered for her kindness and gentleness that she shared with everyone.
Survivors include one son, Glenn (Esteranza) Marks of Port Isabel, Texas; two daughters, Mary Marks of Red Wing and Barbara Marks of Ft. Myers Florida; two grandsons, Nathan and Benjamin Marks and one sister, Sarah Hultman of New Richmond, Wisconsin along with nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ida West; one son, George and one grandson, Keith.
