Memorial services for Adeline (Bluhm) Miller will be held Friday, July 17 th at 11:00 AM at Mahn Family Funeral Home in Rochester. Mrs. Miller, 86, of Rochester, died Sunday July 12, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Mary's campus.
Adeline Lois Miller was born May 27, 1929 in Rochester to William Bluhm and Lina Bluhm. She attended a small country school in rural Rochester through 8th grade and then graduated from Rochester High School. She married Gerald Miller on November 2, 1949 in Potsdam, MN. He passed away March 11, 1983.
Adeline worked in sales at Dayton's in Rochester for over 30 years. She was a caring and loving individual who enjoyed gardening, reading, and the company of her dogs. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Upon her passing, Adeline donated her body to the Mayo Clinic Anatomical Bequest Program.
She is survived by her sister Marion of Rochester; nieces Julie Kasten, Laurie Anderson, Karen Ferdin, and JoAn Konkel; nephews Kevin Anderson, Willie Nelson, Jerry Bluhm, and David Bluhm. Many special great-nieces and nephews, Nicole, Angela, Chelsie, Cortney, Willie Jr., Chris and several other great-nieces and nephews.
Adeline was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; two brothers, Leon and Elmer; two sisters, Lillian and Violet and her parents.
