Adeline "Lynn" Heins age 86 of Lake City Passed away December 19, 2009 at her home.
Adeline was born October 6, 1923 in Mora, MN to Arthur & Sena (Peterson) Taylor. She grew up and attended school in the Mora area. Adeline married Allan J. Heins September 30, 1944 in Mineral Wells, Texas. They moved to the Lake City area in 1952. She worked as a clerk at the Hinck Color Center and Culligan's in Lake City. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Frontenac, Lake City VFW Ladies Auxilary. Adeline enjoyed Golfing, Bowling, Sewing and Quilting.
She is survived by her husband Allan, two daughters, Yvonne (Dennis) Ostrom of Torrance, CA, Anita Heins of Red Wing; three grandchildren Tyler Cronin, Molly Cronin, Dana Heins; two sisters, Muriel Ostrom of Brainerd, MN, Loretta Kelley of Holly, MI. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Kenton Heins; four brothers and one sister.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2009 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Frontenac with the Rev. Christopher Hoppe officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Lake City. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church. Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City.
