Adair Maureen (Dahman) Palmatier, age 56, died peacefully at home in Red Wing on March 30, 2020, of metastatic breast cancer.
Born February 15, 1964 in Lake City, MN. Preceded in death by father Richard "Dick" Dahman. Survived by husband of 27 years, Christopher Palmatier; children Evan, Sam, and Julia Palmatier; mother, Adair Dahman, and stepfather, Horst Radtke, all of Red Wing; siblings: Diane (Tom) Erickson, Edina; Kerry (Bill) Laqua, Red Wing; Rich Dahman, Madison, WI; William Dahman, Minnetonka; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and cancer friends near and far.
Adair loved life, her family, fine food, connecting with friends, and boating on the Mississippi River. A caregiver at heart, Adair was a caring oncology nurse who became a cancer patient and a compassionate end-of-life care provider who was lovingly cared for at home in hospice the last five months of her own life. She lived her faith as a parish nurse, as a Stephen Minister, and in the way she loved and cared for others.
Private Inurnment Saturday, April 4, 2020, Oakwood Cemetery Columbarium, Red Wing. Memorial Service postponed until a later date, United Lutheran Church, Red Wing.
