Judith Bergman, 94, died on Saturday, September 19th, after a prolonged illness. She was born August 27, 1921 in Porter, MN. She grew up in the Dawson, MN area and met her husband, Paul G. Bergman there. They were married in 1944 and lived on the east coast while Paul served in the Navy, returning to Dawson to farm after his military service. In 1957 they made the decision to move to Turlock, California where Paul worked for and eventually purchased Bergman Roofing Company. Judy kept the books for this business, and also volunteered in their church and community. Judy was a Sunday School teacher, Awana leader, and a part of women ministries in her church. She helped run a local thrift shop that raised monies for Emanuel Covenant Hospital. Judy loved to cook and bake. Entertaining was a special gift she had. Both Judy and Paul were known for the large Christmas Eve Breakfasts they hosted each year.
Judy loved her family, her church, and most of all her Lord, Jesus Christ. She is now in her eternal home with perfect health restored to her.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Anderson and son-in-law Timothy Anderson; grandchildren Vicki Anderson; Paul Anderson (Keighla Anderson); great grandchild, Lauren, and great great grandson, Rylan; sister-in-law, Virginia Peters, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Paul G. Bergman, her parents, her siblings, many relatives and friends.
